THE most important part of successful CPAP treatment by far is patient compliance with doctor's orders. Metro-Med well understands this point and, through proactive patient education, instruction and follow-up, gives each and every CPAP patient we service the best chance of success from prescribed treatment.
Our Respiratory Therapists follow-up with patients on a scheduled/PRN basis from point of setup to help ensure successful treatment through compliance with doctor's orders. Making sure patient tolerates treatment and regularly uses the equipment, especially during the first during the first 14 - 30 days, is crucial.
We bill private insurance, Medicare and secondary insurance on patients' behalf. Additionally, we are contracted with many major insurance providers and health organizations such as Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Motion Picture Health plan, HealthCare Partners and others.
